Consolidation: New Pay@TableTM feature!
Ingenico provides a full suite of solutions
to consolidate transactions. Either using our versatile base or
the PC based IngeStore solution, all transaction data is sent through
a unique telecom link, significantly saving telecoms costs. These transactions
are consolidated using a wide variety of reports which are available to
the merchant (total end of day, total by terminal, by waiter, by card….).
Our solutions can also be integrated with customer ordering systems giving
full integration between the order, the amount to pay and the payment
itself.
• Self Installation
Help
This simple Pay@TableTM application allows
you to install your radio terminals and optimise the performance of the
Bluetooth link without anyone’s help!
When a terminal is sent to the customer, it comes
with concise instructions on how to set up the terminal. The merchant
is guided through the installation process by messages displayed on the
terminal screen. The process includes a radio test link to help ensure
that the base unit is in the optimal position for coverage. The merchant
can repeat the test in different spots within the building. For each test,
a signal quality test report is printed.
• Tip management
Problems with fraud or errors on tips? Pay@TableTM’s
tip management feature allows tips to be added directly through the Ingenico
Portable Terminal making the transaction much
more convenient and secure for the
customer.
The function is part of the payment application and can be configured
using different parameters. For example, you may want the display to read
‘gratuity’ rather than ‘tip’. The actual process
flow can also be configured in accordance with the bank/acquirer’s
policy. For example, the tip amount may be sent with the transaction or
stored as a total to be sent at the end of the day.
• Dynamic Currency
Conversion
For your “worldwide” customers, Ingenico can provide a solution
which will allow them to pay for goods in their own currency. This is
especially relevant in the hospitality sector where tourism is an important
part of annual revenue.
• Loyalty –
Prepaid
Want to work with loyalty and prepaid cards? Pay@TableTM’s
“Loyalty-Prepaid” application gives your business the opportunity
to accept these new schemes.
Ingenico has developed a loyalty system that can handle merchant
loyalty campaigns as well as prepaid
cards. The system can work either in stand alone mode or in connection
with a local or remote server (to create wide networks of loyalty terminals).
There has been growth in the use of prepaid cards in pubs and discotheques.
They are loaded with a specified amount using the Ingenico terminal. The
same terminals are used to deduct amounts from the card.
• Split bills
Customers frequently ask for bills to be split for payment using two or
more cards To assist with these scenarios, Pay@TableTM
provides a new software solution. The Ingenico “Bill
Split” solution simplifies this process for your customers.
The terminal prompts the operator (waiter) to choose whether or not the
bill should be split. If yes, the terminal prompts for the card amount
for the first transaction. The terminal will then process this as a single
transaction and until it has completed. The transaction completed message
contains the transaction amount and remainder unpaid. The terminal will
then wait for a new transaction to be presented to it. During this cyclical
process, cancel can be pressed to signify that the final part will be
cash. This method relieves the terminal operator
of making any calculations of splits while still allowing tips
on individual portions.
• Call-A-Cab
Completing a transaction and calling a cab at the same time for your customer
WITH a unique solution is now possible! Pay@TableTM
and its “Call-a-Cab” application optimises and improves the
service you can provide to your customers.
This new solution allows you to automatically call a taxi while processing
the transaction. By pressing a button, an automatic call is sent to the
taxi call center that sends back a printable answer specifying the taxi
name and waiting time.
• Bill Printing
Want to optimize the use of your payment
terminal Ingenico offers an application to print the payment receipts
and the final bill. Integrated with the restaurant ordering system, the
terminal is able to retrieve all the data necessary once the table number
is entered.
The waiter no longer needs to pass by the counter to get the bill, increasing
productivity. With the i7700 terminal
he has all he needs in his hands to satisfy the customer.
